𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀:
Matt Davis has performed at numerous, global, performing arts and comedy festivals in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America; and toured solo shows through hundreds of cities across more than sixty (60) countries, including many where he was the first foreign artist to work with local scenes.

In addition to 25+ years of performing, his comedic short films have been featured in collectives at the Film Dayton festival, the LYAO comedy festival, and the Cincinnati Film Festival; his latest, a 1/4 hour animated episodic titled Going Somewhere with Matt Davis, debuted as an official selection of the 25th Anniversary Sidewalk Film Festival (2023).

In 2015 Matt Davis launched the World in Jest project to embody the belief that real and imagined borders can be crossed when people prioritize communities of shared interest. In 13 months he co-produced with local arts scenes over 100 performances across more than 30 countries. Matt followed this up with two more international tours: Hello Watchlist and BadFamiliar, the latter of which was performed over fifty (50) times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Fringe World in Perth, Australia, and toured through Europe, Asia, and Australia before being interrupted by the year 2020 and its general malaise.
