Am 26. Mai 2017 sind die beiden Multiinstrumentalisten Herbert Könighofer (AT) und Sid Hille (FIN) im Cultur-CafeSmaragd in Linz zu Gast und präsentierten ihr Programm, das zwischen mystischen, skandinavischen Klängen und knallharter Realität oszilliert. Mit spannenden Instrumenten wie Theremin, Kontrabassklarinette und vielen mehr, konstruieren sie sphärische Klangwelten, durchbrochen von rockigen Balladen und Zappa-esken Sounds und lassen das Publikum und die Stimmung vor Ort Teil ihrer Improvisationen werden.
„Water“ and „Moon“ is what connects the musicians Herbert Könighofer and Sid Hille. Both multi-instrumentalists immerse themselves into physics, nature, lunar inspiration, depths, … in their various projects, now oscillitaing between scandinavian mystics and alpine grounding.
In fall 2016, the two musicians met in “the moonlight shadow”, caused by the partial lunar eclipse taking place mid September, and devoted themselves to Yin and Yang, to darkness and light, to up and down, by means of music. On their first little Austria-tour, from Salzburg via Hallstatt to Vienna, they did not only meet in person for the first time, but also found the affirmation that their approaches to music perfectly match and that they are ready for further collaborations in the future!
