ITALIAN STANDARD TRIO is made up of musicians who come from different stylistic-musical experiences, but all mainly connected
to jazz with blues connotations.
The peculiarity of the trio lies in having developed an idea of reinterpretation of the “Italian song” in their own way.
Thus the jazz root is intertwined with the Italian popular music of the 60s and 70s and from this union their jazz interpretations of the most beautiful songs of the peninsula are born.
Italian history is rich in culture, art and also a lot of beautiful music.
Artists such as Gino Paoli, Bruno Martino, Domenico Modugno, Celentano, Mina,
Fabrizio De André, Natalino Otto, Fred Bongusto, Carosone and many others are known throughout the world.
Breaking away from the usual desire to copy the giants of great American jazz at all costs, the three musicians intend to enhance, or at least spread the knowledge of these songs to other musical fields by reinterpreting them in a swinging jazz key.
The organ trio formation, on the other hand, aims to recapture that style born in the USA which is so appreciated throughout the world
